NERF FAQS

Are NERF Guns Suitable for All Ages?
No, as a general rule of thumb we wouldn’t recommend a blaster to any anyone below 6 years old. However, the recommended age range for the Nerf Rival is higher, set at 12 yrs of age, this is because of the velocity that the high impact rounds leave the blaster is much higher than that of a standard gun.

What is The Average Range of a NERF gun?
The average firing distance varies from gun to gun. Most have a range of up to 35ft but our Nerf Elites can get up to 75ft. Our Nerf Rival have a range up to 90ft.

What Darts do your Nerf guns fire?
Although there is a large variety of darts available, each featuring different tips or themes, there are actually only three primary types: Elite, Mega and High Impact Rounds.

Our Nerf guns fire Elite and High Impact Rounds.

Our Elite Guns (ages 6+) fire the standard and most popular Elite style nerf dart.

The Nerf Rival (ages 12+) makes use of special spherical rounds (or “High Impact Rounds”) and cannot fire standard darts.

Should I Wear Any Protection Using NERF Blasters?
Our motto is always to be “better safe than sorry” and with that in mind we provide all participants with safety glasses. Even if you feel that NERF blasters aren’t powerful enough to cause any damage, there is no point in taking the risk. Some of the more powerful guns, such as those found in the Rival range, fire rounds at 30mps so safety glasses are a must! Don’t ruin your fun by getting hurt.

Do NERF Guns Make a Lot of Noise?
On the whole, blasters don’t make much noise at all. In fact, it is much more likely going to be you making the noise (shouting and laughing etc.) than the gun itself.

Your standard NERF gun is going to have a few audible clicks and clacks but nothing which is going to disturb your neighbors.

Are NERF Guns Waterproof?
Nerf guns are not waterproof. Even though Nerf guns are water-resistant, they are not built for complete soaking The main issue you will come across is the water tends to rust the springs and screws and cause damage to the darts.
